Jungle Jack's Adventure Soft Play Area is a spacious jungle themed, city centre soft play suitable for children aged 0-8.

Situated at Grey's Quarter in Eldon Square it is easily accessible by lift and is very reasonably priced at £2.50 for under 2's and £6 for over 2's for a 1 hour session and no charge for adults.

There are two multi level play frames, football pitch, large ball pool and a baby area with sofa around so parents can stay close.

What kid doesn't love dinosaurs, we have been going to The Great North Museum for years and the Dinosaur section is always a favourite with our kids.

The Giant T-Rex Skeleton is the showpiece and there are lots of other dino models on display as well.

The Mouse House is a multi-purpose for under fives with a gallery to introduce younger kids to the museums collections. There is also activities on the wall to help explore the rest of the museum.

Seven Stories is The National Centre for Childrens Books and is just a couple of minutes walk from the farm.

Seven Stories is the only place to have exhibitions dedicated to the work of children's writers and illustrators.

You can then also have a walk along the River Ouse to get some Pizza and Ice Cream from Di Meo's
