Blackfriars Newcastle - Set Lunch Menu Review

 
Blackfriars in Newcastle is, in my opinion, one of the best value lunches in our city. I have visited a few times over the years and always leave feeling impressed and as if I have received good value for money. It is not somewhere for a cheap meal, but does provide excellent value. There's a difference.

Branzino Newburn Review – A New Place to Dine on The Tyne

Earlier this year Branzino, a new Italian restaurant, opened on the banks of the Tyne in Newburn.

Located just off Newburn Bridge, it has taken over the premises of the former Boathouse Pub. This is an ideal venue for people who want to ‘dine on the Tyne’, but without the hustle and bustle of the city centre.

My husband and I have visited a few Hard Rock Cafes around the world so when we heard there was one opening in Newcastle we were quite excited! 

Andi has had an amazing vegan burger at the Hard Rock Cafe in New York so having a branch closer to home was brilliant news!

This Saturday I visited Fenwick’s new Roof Thirty Nine – Newcastle’s new ‘alfresco dining’ restaurant and I must say it is rather fabulous! The restaurant is located on Fenwick’s rooftop. Turn right at the food hall entrance – nearest to Mac and Charlotte Tilbury make up counters.
